Optimisation of costs and consumption of electric energy

The advisory services intended to optimise costs and consumption of electric energy are provided by the company Skyline Energy Sp. z o.o. within the Group. The experts of the Company suggest a staged approach to the optimisation of consumption of electric energy including reduction of its costs, which enables to perform the project in such a way to be as minimally invasive as possible for the Client. The first stage defining the saving potential is connected with the actions to reduce the costs incurred for the energy, and it is an introduction to the second stage related to reduction of consumption. At the same time the entire project is analysed in terms of economic aspects which is a guarantee for the Client that the solutions we suggest will bring measurable benefits.

Scope of the advisory services of Skyline Energy Sp. z o.o. covers:

Energy audit - it is an expert’s opinion which is to analyse current state of the selected aspects of the performance of the enterprise (in wider context: organisation) in order to identify these areas of activity where it is possible to increase total energy efficiency. It is a preliminary stage to implementation of the measures intended to reduce costs of usage of the energy media. The audit covers the following issues:

• how to improve usage of the equipment in order to improve efficiency of the energy consumption,
• is it necessary to invest in new technologies or replace machines or equipment to reduce energy consumption,
• how to improve the production management process,
• where to look for the place of the quickest energy efficiency improvement,
• how to plan provision of energy media.

Audit outcomes:

• recommendation of specific technical, organisational and formal solutions accompanied by economic analysis of the suggested solutions, and consequently improvement of energy efficiency and reduction of energy consumption;
• determination of the profitability level of the recommended actions and expected period of return on investment in performance of the changes.

Engineering services related to optimisation of the processes of power stations and heat and power plant – coordination of the work of the heat and power plant from the point of view of the process automation:

• analysis of the work of the heat and power plant on the basis of the data received and site inspection,
• design of structures of the coordination system,

• programming the structures in the controller,
• installation and commissioning,
